I offer a sliding fee scale available on a limited basis. This scale ranges from $100 - $175 which is based on need, (income verification) and readiness for counseling. The average session is $100.00 per 50-minute session.  My regular billable fee is $150.00-$175.

Fee is set during the first session for the first and following sessions. Client is responsible for covering the costs the Insurance companies do not cover.

Insurance Information

I accept some forms of insurance, and most PPO plans will offer coverage or benefits for out of network providers.  If you are covered, your PPO plan will reimburse part or all of your fee.  Upon request, I will give you a "Super-bill" fee statement for you to submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. I will work with you as you work with your insurance company to receive maximum benefits.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Accepted Insurance Plans - contact your insurance company to verify coverage prior to your first appointment. You may have Out of Network Coverage for therapy.

Multiplan PPO

TriCare - MHN

Value Options PPO
CIGNA Behavioral Health PPO
Blue Shield of California PPO
United Healthcare PPO

Other PPO’s will provide an Out of Network Provider option which would meet your yearly deductible - it is always best to speak with your insurance company to clarify the details of your coverage.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Most Insurance companies do not cover the payment for a late cancel or "No Show" - payment for the missed appointment then becomes your responsibility, even with insurance.
